Prepare to be STRUBBED!

    Those sneaky Russians are at it again.  Earlier this year accusations from the professional tennis community flew in droves that the Russian Mafia had been fixing  ATP matches, including one in which #4 ranked Russian Nikolai Davydenko “withdrew” against the then 87^th ranked player.  Now accusations in the tennis community are surfacing that recall the radioactive poisoning death of ex-Russian spy Alexander Livinenko .

    Germany’s #13^th ranked Tommy Haas, a quarter finalist at this year’s US Open, has declared that his “dessert or his latte macchiato after dinner” was poisoned by the Russians shortly before the Davis Cup match between Germany and Russia that took place on September 23^rd.  Haas withdrew from his match due to illness, giving the Russians a 3-2 victory in what might be called the World Cup of tennis.

    As Haas’ accusations, supported by a Russian informant and currently being medically tested, have led to a great deal of public outcry, Strubb.com wonders why the Russians didn’t just spike his food with steroids and get him banned from the tour for life.  Who would believe the claim “I tested positive for banned substances because somebody sprinkled steroids on my pretentious coffee dessert-beverage”?

The hottie for this weekend is the whole reason why Strubb started picking up golf. Pro golfer Natalie Gulbis takes the honors this week. Not only did she win her first LPGA tournament this year she also has come out with several calanders, wrote a monthly column for FHM and had her own reality TV show on the Golf Channel. Yes the golf channel, might of cost us five bucks a month to order it but for Natalie it was worth it…

The celebrity Canadian gossip page isthishappening.com obtained this photo of 19 year old Toronto Maple Leaf Jiri Tlusty licking tongues with another man considered to be his “friend.”

Later when questioned by a writer for the page Jiri claims he “is not gay or bi nothing.”  In the latest turn of events  the website has found nude photos of the hockey player which they are claiming were sent to another man from Jiri’s cell phone.

This story is just bizarre more to come as the story unravels…

According to a report by the Daily Business Review, Shaq has finally sold his 18 bedroom, 11 bathroom, 64,000 sq. foot Miami kingdom to Alex Rodriguez.  The Star Island mansion has been on the market since the beginning of the year and has finally sold between $25 and $27 million, which is a measly seven percent of the reported $350 million A-Rod demanding from the Yanks…

ARod might be asking for silly money but we guarantee he will not be signing the most comical contract of this off season. Details of Curt Shillings new contract are out and the fattest part of the contract is in the incentives, literally. While in negotiations with the Sox, Tubby introduced the idea of a weight in clause which can result in a heavy bonus of $2 million dollars for Curt. According to his blog:

I inserted the weigh in clause in the 2nd round of offers, counter offers. Given the mistakes I made last winter and into Spring Training I needed to show them I recognized that, and understood the importance of it.

Wow… Tubby managed to find a way to get paid to do what every other fat overweight American should be doing, losing weight. His metabolism might of slowed down a bit over the years but his mind is still sharp, clearly outsmarting the Sox with this one…

Opie and Anthony threw viewers for a loop this morning by reporting Tom Brady has been suspended for 4 games. Tom Brady’s suspension story was part of an ongoing Tuesday morning gag of Opie and Anthony reporting fake news stories. Since this morning, the false rumor has caught on a bit and started spreading through the internet despite being completely made up.

We’d like to commend Opie and Anthony for coming closer than any other team this week in giving New England fans a big scare…

The Colts have yet again been accused of manufacturing artificial noise in their stadium to throw off their opponents. A video has been circulating on the internet that claims to prove that the dubious franchise is in fact cheating to win.

CBS television went to bat for the Colts organization and took responsibility for the conveniently timed noises. They claim that the deafening vibrating sounds were only heard over your television and were non existent in the stadium.

What’s the matter with the Colt’s fans, sounds like they blew their load after just one Super Bowl and now need a little extra jolt to help get them going…

Lute Olsen is taking a break from his coaching gig for “unspecified reasons”. He claims the mini-vacation isn’t health related. Instead the departure is because of a personal matter that needs his undivided attention.

That one didn’t fly with the Strubb board of directors. We want to know what the real deal is, and we figured our fans would be the best at guessing the real root of the Olsen’s departure. Lets see what you got fellas….
